‘The rich have their own photographers. I photograph the forgotten ones” – Milton Rogovin
Internationally published photographer Julie Pinington Wright practices as a concerned photographer. Her images reveal the social and political aspects of the subject which portray a message to the viewer, imploring them to take action. The photographs document a greater sincerity, whilst exposing the reality of injustice, most of which is located within the arena of human struggle and hardship, ultimately, using photography to challenge attitudes and provide a platform for change within the world - not merely record its existence.
Wright is a South African native but currently resides in the North West of England with her family.
